Job Title – Principal – Software Engineering – Data Engineer

This position is responsible for develop, maintain and support Data Integration Platform that is being used in FFIO Organization to implement Datawarehouse. This platform enables and empowers applications to focus on business logic implementation by leveraging re-usable components offered at platform level.

The Purpose of This Role

• Design , Develop and Support Data Integration Platform that meet the data objectives of the organization.

• Align and Develop utilities in line with the organization`s strategic plan and objectives.

This Global role is based in India reporting to the Business Unit head (BLR or CHN).

The Skills that are Key to this role

Essential Skills

• Strong in Informatica/ETL and SQL/ Pl-SQL Data Quality and Data Governance Tool

• Working knowledge Unix/Shell Scripting and Python

• Job Scheduling Technologies like Control-M, Autosys

• Able to readily adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

• Analysis, Design, Estimation and Development of components

• Strong communication skills to manage various stakeholders in India as well as in US

• Strong inclination to make things happen the first time within the defined quality framework.

• Collaborate with peers and superiors on process improvement ideas.

The Expertise We’ are looking for

• Cloud/AWS deployment knowledge

• Agile methodologies or iterative development processes

• Acceptance test-driven development a plus.

How Your Work Impacts the Organization

FFIO provides accounting and investment management support services for over 6,000 retail and institutional mutual funds and other retail and institutional investment products servicing over $2.7 trillion of assets under management utilizing ~250 IT applications. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; reconciliation; calculating fund performance and attributions; master data management and more.
