As a Data Scientist, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled data scientists who design and develop models to enable clients to use our data effectively.

What you’ll do

• Execute objectives for emerging business-critical eCommerce deliverables

• Deliver codebase and documentation to local Data Science Operations, Technical and Operations teams

• Support eCommerce deliverable transition from Consumer Business Unit ownership to local-team-led post-deployment support structure (BAU)

• Build training for local teams addressing methodology questions and/or frequently asked questions.

• Use your technical, mathematical and analytical skills to define and lead global and regional innovation initiatives, methodology development, KPI development & implementation, standards and best practices.

• Prototype as well as support pilot programs for global Research and Development purposes to drive company innovation.

• Present analysis and development solutions in bigger forums and discuss and gather the relevant feedback

• Drive the development of standardized and scalable methods and tools

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

We’re looking for people who have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and/or 3 or more years of relevant experience

• Excellent statistical and logic skills. Experience in trend analysis, sampling, bias reduction, weighting and projection schema and/or client reclamation resolution

• Strong attitude for data analysis and problem-solving skills

• Good ability to effectively convey complex concepts to non-experts

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Business acumen, the ability to link client’s needs with the business

• Some knowledge of Business Process Improvement and Agile processes

• E-Commerce and Consumer related knowledge an advantage

• Experienced in high-level programming languages (Python or R)

• Knowledge in SQL, working with queries and large-scale databases

• Eager to continuously learn and adopt changing technologies and tools
