• Responsible to propose the solutions and drive them to logical conclusions.
• Responsible for creating evaluation framework and pipelines to evaluate CNN performance
• Develop KPI’s for Perception, Fusion and Planning SW to provide feedback on SW performance to Developers
• Identify the appropriate tools and technologies to implement KPI’s
• Responsible for establishing best practices and processes.
• Responsible to interact with Developers in Mercedes and NVIDIA to understand the requirement and prepare KPI’s to evaluate the SW module
• Mentoring team to build team competency

Technical Skill Set

• Good Understanding of architecture for data driven SW.
• Strong Understanding of Object oriented programming in python and cpp.
• Experience with Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) or other machine learning based models
• Good understanding on the training and especially evaluation of CNN models
• Ideally experience/knowledge of models for object detection, sensor fusion, prediction, planning & control, …
• Can identify problems with specific architectures of CNNs
• A plus is automotive experience, ideally in the field of “Advanced Driver Assistance Systems” (ADAS)
• Well versed with Cloud technologies.

• Ability to drive and work on a topic in an independent way. We will be a small team in the beginning supporting multiple topics. A certain degree of independent decision making and taking on responsibilities is expected.
