Job Location: Bengaluru
Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Perform basic descriptive data analysis
- Implement and assess different ways of data transformation
- Formulate business problems into math / statistics / machine-learning problems
- Build math / statistics / machine-learning models in a scientific way
- Carry out hypothesis tests in a scientific way
- Do model selection and model diagnostics
- Actively participate in research meetings
- Support the research team by creating desired datasets
Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- Excellent analytical and data science skills with strong attention to detail
- Good Python programmers with good knowledge of pandas/numpy/sklearn
- Graduate level math and statistics knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge in machine learning, NLP knowledge is a plus
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Ability to work independently
- Team player and open to new ideas
