Role: AnalystDecision Sciences

Location: Bangalore

Qualification: B Tech/B.E or a graduate in Statistics/economics

Key Roles/Responsibilities

• Work with decision science teams on designing, building and deploying data analysis systems for large dataset
• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, validation, implementation and large-scale data analysis.
• Develop metrics and prototypes that can be used to drive major product design decisions

Experience & Skills Required

• Strong background in statistical concepts and calculations (Descriptive & Inferential Statistics)
• Innovative and strong analytical and algorithmic problem solving skills
• Proficiency with analysis tools (e.g. Excel, R, SAS, SPSS) and data mining languages like SQL, Hive etc.
• Proficient in data visualization and presentation
• Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly and compellingly verbally and in written form
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the analytics role
• Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of big data architecture (Hadoop)
• R, Python with working knowledge of at least 1 year,
• Advance MS Excel, Statistics and Probability Courses (online or college),
• Supervised and Unsupervised Modeling techniques with application on business/real life problems
