Roles and Responsibilities

Perform data modelling, analysis and reporting for a large scale Telecom data system using ODI
Understand and document requirements to build SAP-BI (Business Intelligence) Universes
Analyze large-scale systems and design solutions
Document solution designs clearly and update when required
Creating Reporting using SAP-BI
Designing workflows and perform other tasks as assigned
The candidate must be able to work for US timing (EST – Eastern Time Zone) for at least (6) months to cover the knowledge transfer, orientation and the following.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related IT experience
5+ years work experience in IT/IS
4+ years of extensive experience in ODI (Oracle Data Integrator) or PDI (Pentaho Data
Integrator) as a developer
4+ years of experience in ETL with experience on working on complex and large volume
of data (Billions of Records)
Experience working with Linux/Linux OS, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, and Shell scripts
Solid understanding of IP network and TCP/IP
Current experienced in shell scripting using Bash, Ruby or Python to automate some of
the repetitive tasks
Ability to grasp and provide internal support for tools like SAP, Business Objects and
JIRA
Experience working with different monitoring tools
Expertise in creation of start-up and shutdown scripts, crontabs, files system maintenance and backup scripting and automation
Provide production support in an on-call rotation in a 24x7x365 environment
Must have excellent communication skills and be team player
Expertise or in-depth knowledge in LDAP, NIS, NIS+, NFS, DHCP, SAMBA, HTTP, FTP, SSH,
DNS, etc.
Strong analytical capability in trouble-shooting and debugging skills that involving deep
understanding of software, hardware, firmware and network layers/components
Experience building universes and complex reporting with SAP BI
Experience creating complex Tableau dashboards is a plus
Familiar with Micro services and cloud native architecture
Current working experience with Python and/or Java
Current working experience with Node JS
Must be very strong with SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
