Description
Achieve (formerly the Freedom Financial Network) has openings for Data Engineers at its companies Freedom Debt Relief, Freedom Asset Management, Freedom Network Funding, and Lendage.
Location: San Mateo, CA and Tempe, AZ
Responsible for strategic design, development, and maintenance of Data Platform Services. Work closely with an engineering team that is comprised of Data Engineers, Business
Intelligence Engineers, Data Analysts and Data Scientists. Participates in building a robust data platform using data engineering principles that will serve as a single and consistent source of truth for the company’s decision makers.
The Robust Data and Information Delivery Platform is constructed utilizing:
- Best in breed technology services – Google Big Query & Tableau
- Small, smart team of engineers, analysts, and scientists
- Self Service reporting, alerting and real-time monitoring capabilities
Job Duties:
- Working with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners and Application Engineers on a daily basis to understand data and reporting requirements
- Design, Development and Maintenance of Data Pipelines / Data Transformation Processes
- Build and maintain streaming / batch data pipelines as necessary that sources, processes and delivers data into the Data Platform with measurable quality and within agreed timelines (SLA – Service Level Agreement)
- Design data structures for various Data Infrastructure Layers such as Data Lake (Data Warehouse), Standardized Data Layer and Reporting Data Layers
- Participate in daily scrum meetings and agile ceremonies
