SSAS with knowledge of Power BI
Key Responsibilities : Candidates should have minimum 5 years of IT experience Candidates should have min extensive database experience with a good knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing Concepts Should have Minimum experience on SQL Server Analysis Services
Should have Minimum experience on Tabular model skill Technical
Experience :
– Should have development, testing knowledge, best practice and coding standards on SSIS packages
– Should have exp on SQL Server
– Should have knowledge on Store Procedures, Functions, Dynamic SQL queries, Locks, Tables, Database creation, Roles Good to have Azure SQL DB, MDS, DQS knowledge
Professional Attributes : Investigates new technologies and techniques and researches ongoing industry developments.
– At least 5+ experience in cloud environments preferably Azure
– Should have excellent technical knowledge on Microsoft Azure Platform with hands on expertise and excellent knowledge of SQL
– Experience working on Data Warehouse concepts like star schema, snow flake, dimension and fact table.
– Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate with business analysts/system analysts
– Create dashboards and standard reports in one or more visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
– Capable of performing query hygiene and performance optimization – review and optimization of queries for performance and efficiency
– Build reports, dashboards, models and tools to analyze, report, and present data in a consumable format
– Assist new users and business partners with product troubleshooting and orientation
Analytics experience with MS-BI SSAS, Power BI is mandatory
– Strong SQL and query optimization experience
– Passion for delivering business value by creating excellent business intelligence products
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with strong business judgment and an ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
– A complete Business Intelligence skill stack, from query to dashboard
– Proactive mind set with a strong sense of ownership
– Excellent time management and prioritization skills
– Interest in user experience and design thinking
– Experience with SQL and Visualization tools
– Deep understanding of metrics and KPls and how to use them to guide a business
– Experience participating in Agile development
– Understanding of data management technologies
– Experience working in a big data environment
– Experience working on user interfaces or creating interactive dashboards a plus.
