We are looking for a data engineer with cloud data warehouse experience and a passion for turning data into information. You will design and develop data pipelines and data models that underpin our KPIs and business processes. This exciting, fast-paced role requires outstanding organizational skills, critical

thinking, problem-solving, and presentation abilities to enable business partners to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain data models and data engineering solutions for our cloud data warehouse
- Work with business stakeholders to discover ROI and key success metrics to guide our investments in technology and improve our online operations
- Analyze data to ensure quality and help assess whether business value can be achieved
- Drive commercial solutions by developing prototype concepts and minimum viable products while identifying and troubleshooting issues of scale.
- Create visual solutions to deliver to stakeholders
Requirements:
- Experience engineering data ingestion and transformation solutions
- Experience building statistical models including machine learning techniques, A/B testing, clustering, dimensionality reduction, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop production data pipelines and API solution products (ex. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Advanced SQL and RDBMS experience (ex. Snowflake, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
- OOP or functional programming experience (ex. Python, Java, R, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and break down problems
- Drive to match data solutions to business goals and initiatives by collaborating with technology, engineering, product, and sales teams to understand existing processes and how to improve them.
- Ability to visualize data (Tableau experience preferred)
- Perform ad-hoc problem discovery, analysis, solutioning, and reporting
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Motivated self-starter, ability to initiate and drive projects to completion
- Experience with remote working tools (Zoom, Slack, etc.)
Bonus:
- Data project management experience
- Experience with semi-structured and unstructured data
- Automotive industry and vehicle valuation experience
- Data curiosity, knowing when and why less is best.
