PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, Development and enhancement of SQL server data warehouse using MSBI tools (SSIS, SQL Server development, PowerBI/ Qlik Sense)
- Programming (T-SQL) in SQL Server
- Experience in Query Optimization, Procedures/Views, and Functions.
- Ability to troubleshoot SQL server databases, ETL packages and Reports
- Data warehouse management and SQL Server using Kimball Architecture
- Manage SQL Server Data Warehouse through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission critical production systems
- Maintain 100% system uptime by Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
- Continuously improve system performance by enhancing server configuration and parameters.
- Model complex Data Warehouse structure in SQL Server using Kimball Architecture.
- Assist developers with complex query tuning and schema refinement.
- Independently develop and maintain complex ETL jobs in SSIS and Kafka
- Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution in scheduled ETL jobs.
- Write complex stored procedures to provide solutions for business requirements.
- Understanding of BI concepts – OLTP vs OLAP and deploying the applications on cloud servers.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 4-5 Years of overall experience in IT.
- 3-4 years hand on experience in complex ETL development in SSIS for Data Warehouse
- Proficient in Data warehousing concepts and Kimball Architecture.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL and PLSQL code.
- Ability to work effectively in cross functional team/module.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Should be open to work in 24X7 setup and in rotational shifts.
- Good team player.
