About the project
We’ve built a homegrown service using Java and Spring Boot that allows internal engineers to run data processing jobs using multiple engines, such as Spark. This service includes a REST API, and it runs on Kubernetes in AWS.
When it’s fully built out, it’ll serve hundreds of engineers and tens of thousands of daily jobs. These jobs process large volumes of data and serve all domains within Expedia Group.
We’re looking for Flink engineers that can integrate Flink support into this service. This includes designing and developing the code to enhance an existing codebase and integrate with existing Kubernetes clusters.
