Position: Business Analyst
Location: New York, NY (onsite from Day 1)
Contract
Must have 7+ years of BA experience
Specific responsibilities include: Need BA with Capital Market experience with AML/ Txn monitoring/Compliance
Responsibilities
· Apply KYC procedures to all prospective clients, and existing clients where required
· Manage client due diligence (CDD) outreach requests, including tracking, communications, and troubleshooting where needed
· Perform work in compliance with risk oversight, including responding to customer alerts, supporting audit requests, and ensuring Firm KYC policies and procedures are followed
· Provide guidance and assistance to Sales Team, Relationship Managers, and other business lines
· Maintain positive, strong working relationship with all business lines
· Maintain positive, strong working relationship with Client Onboarding & Regulatory Services, AML, Compliance and GFC
· Support, in a program support role, the integration effort across multiple teams.
· Collect, store, and route sensitive, personally identifiable client information
· Always maintain integrity, especially when working with sensitive information
· Document processes & establish controls around onboarding processes
· 2 – 5+ experience in AML, Compliance or Fraud
· Working Knowledge of AML and OFAC regulations preferred
· Proven success working in a dynamic and fast paced environment and working well with minimal direction or structure
· Strong capabilities in managing high volume, multi-tasking activities with a high degree of accuracy, speed, and detail
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Proven analytical, problem-solving skills, prioritization, and time management skills
· A willingness to dig into the details to understand issues
· Adaptable and able to quickly move into new situations, build relationship with, and provide excellent customer service to employees and prospects/clients at all levels
· Proficiency in MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and aptitude for learning new programs
· Team oriented, pragmatic, motivated, and goal oriented
· Bachelor’s Degree required
