Qualifications
- Strong experience in writing production-level Python and follow software engineering best practices.
- Solid mathematical fundamentals including linear algebra, vector calculus, probability theory, and numeric optimization.
- Detailed understanding of how deep learning works including layers, loss functions, optimization, etc.
- Knowledge of camera fundamentals – Optics, ISP, and image formats.
- Knowledge of camera calibration algorithms and process automation.
- Familiarity with basic computer vision concepts such as intrinsic and extrinsic calibrations, homogeneous coordinates, projection matrices, and epipolar geometry.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch.
- Familiarity with model quantization and pruning techniques.
- Experience working with ARM64 architecture and devices such as NVIDIA Jetson, Intel NUC.
Education
- M.S. degree in Computer Science (Machine Learning/Computer Vision)
Preferred
- Prior experience in building object detection models (Stage 1 & Stage 2 Detectors), and tracking algorithms (Kalman filtering, Hungarian algorithm).
- Feature Extraction Algorithms: SIFT, SURF, ORB.
- Ph.D. in Computer Vision.
