Data Analyst

Do you have experience working as a Data, Financial, Healthcare or Business Analyst or are a new grad with an Informatics or Data Science background? If so, my client, located in Elkhart, IN is looking to add a dynamic Data Analyst to their team.

***Position is onsite in Elkhart with opportunity to telecommute in the future.

What you will be doing:

• Translate complex analysis into simple visualizations that can communicate key takeaways to leaders and stakeholders.
• Assists with development, implementation, and documentation of quality improvement processes to ensure that reported data is accurate and reliable.
• Collect, compile and organize complex health care data including both medical data and financial data.
• Develop reports to be used on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Communicate insights with stakeholders.
• Designs and produces timely and meaningful analysis and data interpretation regarding large healthcare datasets to help the organization understand and monitor performance, break down key drivers and identify new opportunities.
• Utilizes software programs such as SAS, SQL, Tableau, Excel and/or other business intelligence tools to extract needed data. Helps write original code and/or modifies existing code, as needed, to execute projects to specifications, and assists in the development of these specifications.
• Interprets data accurately and produces clear and comprehensive written analyses, dashboards, graphs, tables, etc. for various internal and external audiences.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar type role( Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Financial Analyst etc. )
• Intermediate knowledge data visualization tools, including SAS, SQL, Tableau, Excel and/or other business intelligence tools a PLUS.
• Able to work with minimal direction and flexibility when rapid or extensive changes are needed.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex concepts easily understood.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills with the ability to effectively work with diverse individuals and teams and to model respectful and collaborative behavior.
• Demonstrated analytical ability with identifying opportunities and proposing solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and produce easily understood and actionable reports and dashboards from complex data sets.
• Experience with designing and executing analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and initiatives to improve quality.
