Data scientist position: 90-100k salary HYBRID (in office 3x a week): Pennsylvania based performance optimization company!
An exciting, Pennsylvania based performance optimization company is looking for a new data scientist to join the team! They are looking for an intelligent, data driven data scientist who’s ready and willing to join them on their mission!
As a key player of the team, the data scientist will acquire and analyze utility-scale electric power plant process data to support production of machine learning based forecasting and anomaly detection systems.
Responsibilities
- Build production deployments of machine learning offering via established Azure resources
- Problem-solve and modify deployments per specifications
- Remain responsible for deployments and servicing of customer requests
- Work with internal subject matter experts to discover/communicate value-add prospects and avenues for optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- At least 2 years’ of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Fluency in a programming language (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL)
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
As a hybrid role, in office attendance will be expected 3 times a week in office in Warrington, PA.
