Business Analyst – CAT Modelling
In this role, you will be using client data to model exposures using AIR software. Keyoutput of this process is a summary of exposures and technical price to underwriters. This process involves two major steps, which are Scrubbing of Exposure data and apply terms & conditions and Modeling of data & publishing results.
Responsibilities :
– Submission review – Checking for completeness of data submitted by underwriters and following-up with SME underwriters (as required)
– Data scrubbing – Converting client provided data (all formats) to AIR format
– Coding of COPE information
– Slip Interpretation and financial coding
– Geocoding the data
– Enhance address data using outside sources
– Importing the data in AIR
Minimum Qualifications :
– Graduate in quantitative sciences
– Good excel skills (0-3 years), experience in Data Scrubbing is preferable
– Financial coding basics
– Coding of COPE information is preferable
– Good analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
– Working knowledge of Data Scrubbing on CAT Modelling software (preferably AIR)
– Address enhancements using Google
– Financial coding basics
– Analytical ability
– High speed of execution
