Job Location: Gurgaon/Gurugram, Bangalore/Bengaluru
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Be the point of contact for Data Governance queries, drive implementation and continuous application of data governance processes and principles.
- Ability to draw Data Lineage and understand Data Management, Data Classification is preferred.
- Be a custodian of data assets by collecting and organizing metadata to support data discovery & governance.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards, adoption requirements and Operate data remediation plans where data fails to meet required standard.
- Knowledge of data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with good communication skills
Technical Skills.
Must have:
- Knowledge of SQL is mandatory & ability to interpret and change database objects is preferred
- Excellent documentation skills with knowledge of tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Collibra is preferred.
- Experience with Cloud based applications like AWS or Azure etc.
Good to have:
- Awareness around external data governance rules and regulations is preferred but not mandatory.
Desired Candidate Profile :
- Bachelors/Master’s degree in computer science/engineering, operations research or related analytics areas
- Data analysis experience
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent Analytical, Communication skills and Leadership qualities working in a team and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the development process.
- Self-starter with drive, initiative and a positive attitude. Able to meet very stringent deadlines and always deliver results, even under pressur
