Senior Data Engineer
Job Description
- A candidate for this position must have had at least 5 years of working experience working in a data engineering
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to ETL principles and business goals
- At least 3 years of professional work experience programming in Python or Spark/PySpark
- 3+ years of experience with relation databases by writing Stored Procedures, Common Table Expressions, Window Functions, Partitioning and other advanced RDBMS tasks and some experience working on NOSQL database
- 3 years hands-on experience in GCP/AWS cloud stack and should have designed solutions for minimum 3 different projects
- Hands on experience with more than 1 cloud(AWS/GCP) cloud would be added advantage
- Hands on deployment experience in multi cloud GCP and AWS
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members on data standards and practices and also be client facing to understand the business requirements from clients
- Certification Criteria – Minimum AWS Solution Architect Associate in AWS Cloud or Google Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE Certified) in GCP.
