• Around 2-3 years of HIT/EMR/EHR Experience
• Clinical workflow knowledge
• Good communication skills
• US Health care insight preferable
• Hand on experience on clinical configuration is preferable (e.g. orders, order sets, clinical documentation).
• Carry out the implementation of Altera solutions and designated 3rd party products.
• Identify issues encountered during the implementation of Altera products.
• Assist the end users with the configuration necessary to deliver the functionality defined in the contract scope documentation.
• Present formal training courses and knowledge transfer to Altera clients
• Understand project scope and identify implementation risks and impacts
• Ready to work in shifts (24×5) and on Weekend On Calls whenever required.
• Support all testing phases with the client.
• Identify, analyze, and document client business requirements.
• Work independently and with mentors/peers to gather and translate business requirements into product-specific designs and specifications while expanding application expertise and knowledge of business processes
• Advise clients on testing strategy and planning to ensure successful solution implementation
• Liaise with the client, Project Managers and Account Managers to understand the clients conversion, go-live and rollout strategies and to ensure that the solution meets the clients business needs.
• Deliver advice, guidance and recommendations on system configuration and implementation best practice
• Document problem resolutions, issues, and other solutions and make them available for future reference by other Consultants.
• Provide weekly status reports throughout the project lifecycle to assist management eliminate risks and increase the likelihood of project success
• Good to have: Health care IT experience

Travel Requirements:

• Willing and able to travel up to 100% of the time, often with international assignments
• May require other travel for business needs

Working Arrangements:

• Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements
• Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
• May require working with remote team members
• Activation support might need weekend support.
