Job Responsibilities
-Work with a team of high-performing business and product professionals, and cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, powerful data insights, data model and dashboards to provide visibility through data.
-Analyze large-scale structured and unstructured data; develop deep-dive analyses data models to enterprise value and customer success.
-Design and develop core business metrics, create insightful automated dashboards and data visualization to track them and extract useful business insights.
-Design and analyze data models to be able to provide insights and convert those insights into actionable recommendations.
-Craft compelling stories; make logical recommendations; drive informed actions.
-Engage with internal technology partners to prototype and validate tools developed in-house for near-real-time processing of very large data sets.
-Initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
Basic Qualifications
-BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or related practical experience.
-Bachelors with 2+ years of domain experience or Masters with 1+ years of domain experience.
-6+ years of experience in data modeling, visualization and insight dashboarding
-2+ year experience in Object-Oriented Programming (Python, C#)
-3+ years of experience with SQL and relational database query performance.
– Experience with High scale, data orchestration in cloud platform
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with manipulating massive-scale structured and unstructured data.
-Experience with data orchestration preferably in Azure PaaS resources: any-of: Azure data factory / Snowflake / Databricks DTL / Delta Lake / Azure Synapse Analytics
-Experience with Databricks ETLs for curating modeled datasets.[DW1] [BJ2] [DW3]
-Experience with integrating massive scale data with any reporting tool (PowerBI etc.)
-Exposure to data governance and other compliance policies (GDPR, PII etc.) implementation.
-Exposure to Data warehousing paradigms for OLAP insights generation working on multi-dimensional enterprise datasets
[DW4] [BJ5] [DW6] -Exposure to Industry approved modelling ontologies: for example, CDM
-Working knowledge of Windows or Unix-like systems, git and review board.
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience.
