Job Location: Noida, Panchkula, Gurgaon/Gurugram
Roles and Responsibilities
Immediate responsibilities:
– Understand business domain, key initiatives and quality criteria
– Dedicate effort towards acquisition and curation of numerous data feeds
– Research new data sources to identify useful data for business needs
– Explore and use vendor data tools for various use cases
– Analyze raw data to understand content, relationships and source data quality
– Write scripts to synthesize and transform data to curate most accurate datasets that serve data and analytics purposes
– Implement data quality checks to proactively catch problems before they impact production data
– Create basic documentation for end-to-end data flow
– Serve as the Data SME and collaborate with application developers to build products and features
– Analyze business asks and extract relevant datasets required to answer questions
– Collaborate with data science and technology teams on multiple initiatives
– Work with data vendors on key requirements and issue resolution
– Fully support senior data lead in creating a data lakehouse
– Good to have: Knowledge of U.S. Insurance domain
Areas for growth:
– Contribute in end-to-end data and analytics product development
– Enhance data model to meet evolving business needs
– Collaborate with business and apply data science techniques to derive useful insights from data
