Role Requirements:
- Builds and applies DevOps practices – brings development and IT ops processes, people, and tools closer together to increase the speed, efficiency, and quality with which we deliver technical solutions.
- Architects a Deployment Pipeline – the set of technical and business assurance activities that support the transition of application and infrastructure services from development through to production.
- Provides DevOps thought leadership in delivery contexts, focusing on the requirements of Lululemon’s end-users and how they are best served by continuous improvements to our delivery approach
- Leads the global DevOps team to upgrade the development, testing, and deployment practices
- Works closely with architects and cross-program initiative managers to help define/incorporate best practices of system reliability, incident management, source code management and access management.
- Collaborates with the development teams (onshore and offshore) to deliver on integration projects
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience in Cloud DevOps engineering
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in CI/CD and Infrastructure as a Code tools, such as, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Vault, Grafana, Splunk
- At least 3 years of DevOps team leading and practice building experience
- At least 3 years of experience in designing complex backend applications and web services using java
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill
- Excellent coordination, inter-personal, time management skill
- Experience in developing and designing applications using cloud technologies preferably AWS
- Experience with relational database technologies like PostgreSql or Oracle RDB
- Experience in writing automated tests using frameworks like JUnit, cucumber etc
- Experience with developing and designing applications that use streaming technologies like Apache kafka
- Experience in change management and operation tools, such as, ServiceNow, PagerDuty, etc
- Experience in Jira/Confluence
Desirable
- AWS Architect/Cloud Practitioner Certification
- ML/AI course/specialization
- SAFe or Agile certification
- ITIL certification at Foundation level or above
