We are looking for a data science intern to help us build our datasets in the medical sector, which will be the pillars of our business. The role will be heavily oriented towards data aquisition (web and excel files mainly) and data transformation activities. The web scraping with be done mainly through scraping will be done through our existing software on which you’ll get a training.
Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Configure web crawlers for data extractions
2. Transform data to a standard format (could involve natural language processing)
3. Work on finding creative ways to merge the newly acquired data with existing datasets
