The shortlisted candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals.

You are required to have skills in the following areas :

• 4-6 yrs of experience in BI environment
• 3+ years’ experience as a Business Intelligence developer using the Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSIS, SSRS).
• Experience in Business process analysis is obligatory.
• Must have sound knowledge and experience in SQL and Power BI.
• Should have exposure in connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Strong exposure to DAX is required.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills is a must.
• Excellent analytical thinking in translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Must have exposure in successfully developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Should be well versed and familiar in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements accordingly.
• Should be able to properly understand the business requirements and accordingly develop the data models.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with clients, gathering requirements, and translating them.
• Ingesting data from a variety of corporate data sources and performing required transformations in Power BI query editor
• Developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.
• Designing effective layouts using themes and report grids, working closely with our UX design team.
• Utilizing the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-throughs) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.
• Working with our clients to manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes and fixing any defects identified.
• Publishing reports via the Power BI service, managing them through the distribution of apps and monitoring usage/data refreshes/security access.
