Roles and Responsibilities
The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and building global data platform. You will be accountable for designing, developing, and deploying data components such as ELT jobs, data pipelines, streaming, Analytics, ML to process petabytes of data through our big data platform.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must have 7+ years Hands on experience in ELT and data pipeline design, source-target mapping, developing and performance tuning complex ELT code in Big Data ecosystem.
- Experience with Infrastructure automation, build automation and deployment automation
- Experience in connecting to heterogeneous sources including SAP ECC, Salesforce, Vertica, snowflake among others
- Must have Experience 1+ years with Pyspark, Databricks,Python
- Must have Experience with ADF
- Must have Experience with Azure ecosystem Datalake (ADLS),Delta lake , Azure Data warehouse, Synapse
- Experience with RDBMS & No-SQL databases Knowledge of Slowly Changing Dimension, Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, OLTP and OLAP.
- Communication skills, especially explaining technical concepts to non-technical business leaders
