Job Title: Data Scientist

• 5+ years of applied Data Science experience developing and deploying Machine Learning algorithms into production environments.
• Experience working with large complex datasets across multiple business disciplines: finance, marketing, sales.
• Effectively collaborate across business and technology teams both orally and written. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
• Exceptional problem solving, technical and data analysis skills.

Statistics & Machine Learning:

• Applied knowledge of machine learning techniques and model selection process.
• Demonstrated experiencing communicating complex methods and concepts.
• Rigorous understanding of machine learning model input requirements, training/testing methodologies and optimization algorithms.
• Experience with model tuning and feature selection methodologies.

Programming:

• Proficient with scientific programming languages specifically: Python required.
• Experience developing models in a Cloud Environments: Microsoft Azure Machine Learning Platform preferred.
• Excellent SQL skills including understanding of data manipulation, transformation and data table creation.
• Experience with visualization methodologies and tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Development

• Deployment of production data science pipelines to scale and automate machine learning applications.
• Develop and document machine learning architecture from data requirements to API deployment.

Team

• Collaborate with teams to refine strategy and define requirements for minimum viable product.
• Ability to work independently or with teams across a diverse set of disciplines and skills.
• Translate business problems into technical solutions.
