Job Location: Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad

Roles and Responsibilities

Power BI development and administration.
Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS) or by API automation. Collaborate with teams to integrate Power BI into StayinFront systems.
Design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions and technical documentation.
Translate business needs to technical specifications.
Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
Develop and publish Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI.
Evaluate and improve existing Business Intelligence systems.
Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence.
Implement application security layer models in Power BI.
Understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly.
Train and mentor other developers on the team and create supporting literature including training manuals and wikis for end-users and developers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Background in data warehouse design and data mining.
In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
Experienced in developing custom visuals for Power BI.
Knowledge of Power BI Cloud and app creation and publishing.
Knowledge of BI Enhancements using DAX.
Good written and spoken English is required to correctly interpret and query specifications.
