JOb Description
Role Purpose:
- Working on the D&A transformation programme to migrate all D&A data to Google Cloud across our Operating companies across Europe. You will be part of the workstream which delivers end-reporting to the Local Market D&A teams, and thereby enabling the decommissioning of the legacy reporting stack and on-premise data warehouses, with the help of a team of Data Engineers and Qlik developers.
- Contribute to the architecture and tooling strategy for the new data warehouses, to be implemented on Google Cloud Platform.
- Deliver Data Management solutions with the help of a team of Data Analysts and BI developers
- Drive Local Market transformation and transition from legacy technologies to Cloud
- Develop a deep knowledge on the data architecture and model of the market supported
- Develop reusable solutions using different tools to solve many recurring functionalities with best practices in a cost-effective manner.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
- Designing BI solutions, proposing multiple options for best solutions
- Experience on data architecture and data integration patterns.
- Experience on leading RDBMS like Oracle, Teradata and Big Data projects.
- Experience on GCP tool stack like Big Query, Composer, Cloud Storage etc
- Worked on data warehousing engagements
- Solution Architecture using Cloud technologies
- Understanding of Data structures, cost management on cloud platforms, data governance, lineage and reference data management tools.
- Experienced on working with data consumption (like Qlik, ML, data analytics) teams for fulfilling the right data pipelines requirements
- Good understanding of LDM/PDM as source and target layers of data pipeline
- Exp of 8+ years in large BI projects and EDW Architecture
- Good communication, Presentation and Stakeholder Management Skills
- 4+ years of experience in data management on Cloud
