India Data Insights (www.IndiaDataInsights.com) is a Sattva initiative that provides actionable data insights to the social sector organisations. The portal is used by leading philanthropic organisations, corporate CSR and non-profit organisations to make data-driven decisions for better impact.
What we need
We are seeking a committed and diligent professional with 1-2 years of relevant work experience to :
- Conduct secondary data research covering multiple development sectors
- Mine data (using tools)

Analyse, produce and publish data insights in form of data visualisations (reports,
interactive dashboards, presentations) - Maintain a well-defined, structured and clean database
The Data Analyst plays a key role in maintaining a robust database of secondary data for use by internal teams as well as external clients, and will have a good opportunity to interact with leaders in the social impact sector.
What we are looking for
Ideal candidate should have:
- Excellent research and data analysis skills
- Good communication skills (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of analytics and BI tools (Tableau will be an advantage)
- Meticulous attention to detail and numbers
- Good sense of visual presentation and aesthetics
- Active interest and understanding of India’s development and policy landscape
