As a Data Engineer, you will be part of a technology team supporting data warehousing platforms. The ideal candidate is:

Responsibilities
Provide platform support for Snowflake data cloud deployments.
Impalement new Snowflake data cloud deployments.
Manage DR deployment, ensure DR readiness and perform DR failover testing/certification.
Support near real time data pipelines.
Build process automation using CI/CD tools.
Run proof of concept on new features and new data management tools.
Learn and develop understanding of source data and transformed datasets.
Analyze large datasets, including csv files and tables in database.
Performance tune complex queries to archive optimum performance.
Troubleshoot production issues quickly and efficiently.
Provide release support after hours and on weekends as needed.
Document processes and procedures.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
2+ years of relevant work experience
Experience in
database administration (creating objects, access control, performance tuning, metadata reporting and so on)
Experience in scripting in bash, python is required
Understanding of basic networking (routing, firewalls, subnets, ports)
Proficiency in SQL
and ability to operate on Linux operating system
Experience with AWS S3, EC2 and other AWS services
is a plus
Experience with Cloud
data warehouse solutions (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks) is a plus
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Self-starter with proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies
