Your role
- perform large scale data & systems analysis, and design technology solutions that will solve business problems
- support platform migration to cloud in the areas of data modelling and data extraction processes
- develop understanding of ingested data, choose appropriate data models and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines
- be able to understand complex requirements, come up with high quality solution to address the demand within Credit Risk and fully explore dependencies and implications on various components of introducing the change
- collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize large data sets and implement data-driven solutions
- execute against product vision and commitments in an Agile environment.
- collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams and support organizations to remove roadblocks
- test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design
- manage and ‘own’ significant pieces of project deliverables end-to-end from the initial demand, all the way to testing the agreed solution and delivering to production

You’ll be working in the Risk Technology team in India. The Risk Technology organization at UBS, delivers quality, innovative solutions that support our Group Functions business partners in achieving their operational goals. Your expertise
degree Engineering/Computer Science and have 9+ years of experience predominantly in software delivery
- experienced Analyst Developer/ Technical Analyst with knowledge of the Credit Risk domain
- business knowledge of brokerage/financial systems including exposure to Equities, Bonds/Fixed income.
- experience in large scale IT migration projects with a particular focus on Cloud technologies. Eg: Microsoft Azure
- knowledge of Bigdata technologies on any cloud platforms Data Lakes (ADLS), Spark (Databricks), Scala / Java, Python
- have strong experience in data analysis and running complex queries in SQL
- prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
- strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a global team
- exposure to BDD test framework and automation tools for end-to-end testing will be an added plus.
- flexible and resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills taking initiative to drive things forward
- any qualifications like FRM/CFA will be an added plus
