Highly Preferred Skills

• Should be hands on and good experience in Python, Selenium Web driver with python
• Should have experience working on Azure Devops, pipelines in Azure Devops
• Should be expert in creating test automation frameworks mainly based on python for UI, API, Database etc. (Experience on java-based framework also can be considered once if we did not get python candidate)
• Should have experience in Data validations, expertise in SQL scripting, creating test automation solutions for data validations
• Should have good analytical skills, good in exploratory testing and should display critical, quality-oriented, sceptical thinking about the product
• Should have strong communication skills both verbally and written. Should be able to articulate the details and present expectations very well to team/customers

Good to have skills

• Good to have skills in ETL process and systems
• Good to have experience in Selenium web driver with Java/ any other web driver associates
• Good to have experience in API/Micro service automation
• Good to have knowledge in any of these in addition to python – Java, Java script, Typescript, Node js
• Good to have experience in agile methodologies, Scrum/Kanban models

• Knowledge on handling multiple sets of tests data using any automated/coded systems
• Knowledge on automated test executions, result aggregations in dashboards using container-based systems like Docker, azure Dev ops etc.
• Knowledge on any data visualizing, monitoring systems and its usages on automation
• Knowledge on Git, GitHub/similar repository management, defining branching strategies, merging code etc

Key responsibilities

• Hands-on working with the team in designing, developing, implementing automation solutions, maintaining, code reviewing existing automation frameworks, identifying the improvement areas, and implementing solutions
• This should enhance the quality of the automated systems, as well as add high value to the system/products
• Should be capable of UI Level test automation, data automation, API automation POCS for both functional and non-functional requirements, integrating these solutions as a part of continuous integrations
• Should have vision to avoid test flakiness, by identifying and categorizing the tests to different levels Unit, Component, Integration, UI and implementng proper tools and mechanisms
• Lead the team in implementing & ensuring the Quality Engineering Strategy defined by the organization for functional, non-functional requirements
• Should be able to drive the team in a framework which leads to continuous improvement by enabling teams to make decisions early in the software development life cycle.
• Deep understanding of Testing & Engineering principles, methodologies, tools, (Python, Java, Automation Frameworks, Other scripting languages).
• Strong attitude towards teamwork, knowledge sharing and documentation
