Additional Skills:

• Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science/Electronics or a related field.
• 7+ years’ experience with deep understanding of Data Engineering in building Data lake, Enterprise Data Warehousing, Data Modelling and Data Marts, Business Intelligence.
• Must have led and managed DWH and BI projects in Tech/Manufacturing or BFSI or CPG/Retail or ecommerce.
• Experienced in architecting holistic and futuristic BI solutions comprising (Data Lake/ Self Service BI/ Control Tower)
• Work with multiple teams and stake holders across the organization to bring in best in class solutions to the table and lead the function to grow
• Data architecting and Data modeling for large scale data warehouses and data marts for clients.
• Experience in writing ETL packages/jobs using Talend, SSIS (any etl tool) and in any BI tools
• Experience in building data solution on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
• At least 2 years’ experience in implementing end to end AWS or Azure Cloud Solution at enterprise level.
• Experience in defining and implementing Cloud Adoption and Migration of on-premises workload to Azure/AWS cloud.
• Hands on Experience with Big Data/Distributed Storage and Computing/Spark/Spark SQL/Databricks.
• Hands on with SQL, Python/Scala/PySpark/Java
• Hands – on Exp from data engineering perspective
• Ownership of project delivery, experience in client-facing role for requirement gathering.
• Able to articulate well and explain the project/complexity/technical solution.
• Has a good in Programming and solid understanding of OOAD, OOP, MVC and Data Structures
• Has solid understanding of Databases (SQL/NoSQL), ETL, Frameworks like Data Ingestion, Data Quality, Data Aggregation and Data Visualization.
• Good to have skills – Data Lineage, Data Governance, Metadata Management, NoSQL, Kubernetes, Dockers, Delta Lake/building Lakehouse, Understanding of Power BI/Tableau.
• Strong Debugging & Analysis Skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Has capability and intention to roll-up his/her sleeves and do hands-on in the need of the hour
