Roles and Responsibilities
* 5+ years of experience in Power BI and forecast analyst. This is a 100% remote job
* Create future forecasts for teams to plan production, analyze past
forecast performance, and identify opportunities for enhancing existing
forecasting techniques.
* Develop forecast strategies for special events, seasonal items, and new
item transitions
* Identify, analyze, interpret, and present trends or patterns in complex
data sets by using Excel, SQL, Anaplan, Power BI or similar tools.
* Design reports and dashboards for consumption by the business
* Perform perform modeling and ad-hoc analyses
* Perform deep dive analyses into specific issues as needed
* Use quantitative and qualitative methodologies to draw insights and
support the continuous improvement of the business.
* Interface closely with technology partners to manage analytical
environment and acquire data sets.
* Collaborate with business to understand strategic directions and adjust
forecasting inventory levels
* Communicate regularly with multiple departments within the organization
to align key strategies and identify and resolve supply chain issues
* Guide and influence team members with adaption to new tooling, models,
and reporting
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives
* Additional duties as assigned by manager
EXPERIENCE:
* Strong knowledge/experience with reporting packages, programming, and
reporting (Power BI, Anaplan, Python, SQL, Rapid Response etc.)
* knowledge of forecasting techniques
* 5+ year experience in analytical and strategic field required
* Superb analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to collect,
organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
with details and accuracy
* Confident problem solver and presenter (verbal and written)
* Outstanding flexible team-player
* Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
* knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for
analyzing large datasets preferred
* Experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning will be added advantage
