Skills

• Proficient in ATG Commerce Suite, including Catalog, Checkout Pipeline, Personalization and Business Control Center
• Experience with Endeca and search technologies
• Expertise in Core Java, JDK, JEE, JME
• Strong OO design and other design patterns
• Experience in designing and developing web services, SOAP, REST
• Experience in different development frameworks , MVC, Spring
• Integrating with 3rd party APIs , including payment, address verification, analytics
• Expertise in unit testing frameworks and code analysis tools
• Strong knowledge of SVN/GIT source control, branching strategies
  Extensive database experience, database modeling, PL/SQL
• Basic web application server administration
• Experience developing on multiple Operating Systems
• Strong knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies
  Strong problems solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills

  Responsibilities

• Document application designs
• Initiate communication with UX, product managers and BAs to get complete requirements and designs
• Contribute in design and planning. Call out risks prior to development. Analyze requirements for tech feasibility and complexity.
• Identify dependencies and collaborate on creating the timeline
• Work with front end developers and architects to design a cohesive solution. Identify risks based on architecture constraints.
• Code quality code should  function as well as adhere to performance, readability, reusability best practices
• Complete development tasks in realistic timelines, including time management for multiple projects and/or production support issues
• Clarify test scenarios with QA and collaborate on triaging and resolving issues.
• Troubleshooting debug issues
• Knowledge transfer to production support team
