Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
- Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
- Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
- Supervising the data acquisition process if more data is needed
- Defining validation strategies
- Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
- Defining data augmentation pipelines
- Training models and tuning their hyper-parameters
- Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
- Deploying models to production
Required Candidate profile
- Hands on experience in developing and deploying the machine learning algorithms in actual business conditions across different business domains of BFSI, Digital Media, Pharma, Healthcare etc.
- Managed a team of machine learning engineers and delivered projects meeting Customer requirements
- Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling and software architecture
- In-depth knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics and algorithms
- Ability to select hardware to run machine learning model with the required latency
- Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
- Ability to write a robust code in Python, R and Java
- Familiarity with different machine learning frameworks (like Tensorflow or Kera or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
- Superb communication skills and able to handle team across different geographies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, time management and organizational ability
Qualification and Experience
- BSc, BCA, BE, B.Tech, MSc, MCA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics field
- Masters degree is a plus (not mandatory)
- Certification in Machine Learning (preferred)
- Total Experience: 5+ years
- Relevant ML experience: 3+ years (minimum 2 years in development & deployment role)
