Primary Purpose:
- Author various data visualisation, dashboards, and reports by collaborating and engaging with business groups & analytics team.
- Develop and support enterprise business intelligence needs at scale to serve various mission critical and business critical reports.
- Develop expertise across various business teams, to drive adoption and increase visibility into key measures of business KPIs for enterprise reporting.
- Contribute towards the rollout of a new BI self-service strategy
- Consistently evaluate existing Business Intelligence systems and implementation against leading patterns in the industry, helping us evolve, stay ahead of competition and make better decisions.
- Manage and support BI tools infrastructure on cloud
- Manage and support data catalogue tool
Mandatory Formal Education/Qualifications e.g. CPA
- Bachelors degree (Business / Engineering / Science / Finance / Economics / Statistics)
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 6+ years of experience authoring, deploying & supporting various reports and dashboards using Tableau as the BI tool
- Minimum 4+ years experience in advanced SQL working knowledge and experience working with a variety of relational databases, SQL query authoring.
- Minimum of 4+ experience in creating drill down, drill across and drill through reports and dashboards with or without a UI/UX design.
- Deep understanding of logical, conceptual, and physical data modelling techniques at BI tools presentation layer.
- Understanding of Git and CI/CD pipeline technologies such as Jenkins, Chef & Docker containers
- Should have hands on experience in extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL (Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle) and ability to use a major programming (e.g. Python /Java/C) and/or a scripting language (Perl, Unix shell) to process data for various reporting needs
- Good to have a conceptual or working knowledge of AWS technologies such as S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, Lambda, Redshift
- Great knowledge of Architecture patterns, Technical Implementation details w.r.t security, compliance and governance for BI applications and Infra deployment on premise and on cloud
- Good understanding of Agile delivery techniques

To be successful in this role you will require the following attributes:
- Hands on experience in authoring various reports using Tableau and advanced SQL.
- Hands on and deep experience with schema design and dimensional data modelling.
- Experience with building visualizations independently, for a given data set, to drive analysis with functional knowledge of various business domain.
- Strong understanding of relational, non-relational database technologies and querying tools.
- Experience /understanding with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, R.
- Expertise in different methodologies for data ingestion, transformation, virtualisation and building the data consumption model at Tableau
- Able to author the data, relationship between tables and documents transformation logic (Source to target mapping) for business consumption
- Works with a sound sense of urgency
- Demonstrates business acumen to manage and meet customer and sponsor needs
- Strong team skills across matrixed and geographically distributed teams.
