Business Intelligence Tools-Business Objects Webi and toolset- AVP – Investment Bank
Person Specifications:
– Proficient and understanding of BI tools – Primarily in BusinessObjects Webi and toolset, Minimum experience – 7+ Years relevant experience
– Experience in Migration
– Having knowledge on other BI Tools is added advantage such as Microstrategy/QlikView.
– Working knowledge on DB / DWH concepts including writing complex SQL query, PL/SQL, Query optimization & relational database design.
– Experience with data and metadata setup in each tool
– Solid background in report design and data/user experience design
– Experience of Agile methodologies
– Familiarity with complex system integration and excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle especially agile methodologies
– Strong design skills and experience working large dataset in reports and ad-hoc based queries
– Experience with source control management systems, continuous integration/deployment environments, automated testing, object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories
– Experience in a financial institution with exposure to Investment Banking would be of benefit together with general understanding of the finance markets and financial products (understanding of RISK data is a PLUS)
– Willing to work on multiple BI tools such as BusinessObjects, QliView, Tabluea, Microstrategy etc.
Essential Skills/Basic Qualifications:
– Hands on experience in Datawarehousing projects
– Good knowledge of database management systems – strong in SQL
– Willing to work on multiple BI tools
Desirable skills/Preferred Qualifications:
– Knowledge of BO SDK will be added advantage
– Java, .Net integration with BO, QlikView
– Extremely strong numeric and analytical skills
– Experience in BI tools, data modelling
