About the Role
- 5+ years of experience to lead data integration projects on AWS or Azure Cloud Platform.
- Experienced in all areas of data integration database development, design and administration using a wide variety of technologies and tools relational and dimensional data models, Python data pipelines, AWS Pipelines (Glue, Lambda, Athena).
- Excellent data integration skills for integrating structured, transactional, and operational and 3rd party data into a conformed data model for business insight.
- A good understand of data warehousing skills, star schema design, slow changing dimensions, aggregations, business Intelligence tools and techniques.
- Any experience with real time streaming data pipelines would be useful.
- You will have experience of all phases of the software development process, including requirements gathering, design, coding data pipelines, database design and development, deployment, orchestration, data governance and performance tuning.
- Good communication skills and a self-learner and able to quickly acquire new skills.
- Working knowledge of integrations with external API end points.
Required Technical Skills:
- 5+ years solid experience of building data pipelines using modern data integration platform
- 2 years of experience in Azure or AWS cloud platforms
- 1 year of experience on Python coding for data pipelines
- Data integration skills, consolidating data form multiple data sets
- Strong experience in SQL queries and ad hoc data analysis
- Experience working with large diverse and incompatible data sets (Structured and Un-structured data)
- Creating and documenting technical design specification
