What you will do:

• The position requires creative actuarial capabilities, good communication and interpersonal skills, and organizational talents

• Help Edifecs product and engineering team understand client s financial and actuarial models related to value-based payments.

• Identify and understand client s value-based payment financial models and translate them into requirements for software development work.

• Work as a part of a cross-functional team of engineers, quality analyst, data analyst and product managers towards the delivery of accurate and scalable value-based payment solutions.

• Collect business requirements on client s value-based payment methodologies.

• Collaborate with Product, Client Management, Engineering teams and the client to verify and validate Edifecs s implementation.

• Work with Product Managers, Engineering, and Design to identify and design new ways to extend Edifecs s products to better serve larger market segments.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor s degree in a Computer Science , Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative or Engineering fields , or related field .

• 3+ years of healthcare actuarial experience OR 1 or more Society of Actuaries exams passed

• Experience with Medicaid managed care rate setting a plus

• Experience working with large healthcare datasets, especially medical claims (claims, premium, etc.) and medical care cost and trend calculations.

• Experience with Value-based payment methods strongly preferred

• Ability to understand broad aspects of the healthcare business on the payer, and provider side

• K nowledge of healthcare actuarial/financial models and data analysis will be a plus

• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel

• Data visualization skills and effective storytelling with data through organizing and presentations

• Strong quantitative, analytic, written, and verbal communication skills
