Data Engineer – Python, BigData

We are hiring multiple positions at Senior level Data Engineer to join Muvis growing Engineering team. You will be working on some latest and greatest technology stack like Big Data implementation using Python. To be successful at this role, you should be a self driven problem solver and excellent coder.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture, Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer statistics and other key business performance metrics
• Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
• Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader

Basic Requirements:

• 5+ years hand-on development experience in large-scale distributed technology projects in Bigdata(spark/Hive)
• Strong knowledge of databases modeling and design
• Have work experience any of the databases like MongoDB/ElasticSearch
• Experience with any log analytic tools like ELK, Spark, Flink, Kafka etc
• Programming experience in Python, DJango
• Strong experience in API design and REST based services
• Strong knowledge of ETL tools
• Have Self-directed work ethic with attention to detail and good communication skills

Additional Skills good to have:

• Involved in designing the architecture of any analytical application
• Javascript, CSS, Bootstrap, Highchart
