As Consilio’s Legal Data Analyst will have the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in the various analytics tools within the e-Discovery industry. Due to the ever-growing volume of data, the use of analytics tools, including individuals with this expertise, has become a critical component. The Analytics Engineer will be trained-on analytics tools that are used to assist organizing and finding relevant data within a Document Review workflow. These tools are applied over Electronically Stored Information (ESI), such as emails, attachments, and electronic files.
Prior e-Discovery experience is preferred. Qualified candidates have either prior technical experience or possess the technical aptitude to learn, understand, and apply analytics tools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide project-level support to Analytics Consultants.
- Monitor analytics ticket requests and execute analytics processes according to standard operating procedures.
- Setup and run analytics processes in either Relativity or Brainspace.
- Format and run keyword search lists.
- Communicate analytics results to Analytics Consultants and Project Managers.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or JD preferred.
- 1-5 years experience in eDiscovery/legal analytics/Relativity is a must.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong technical acumen and problem solving.
- Understanding of basic database principles such as records and fields.
- Able to take instruction or follow Standard Operating Procedures, and execute tasks with minimal or no oversign.
- Able to communicate results, findings, issues back to key stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work US hours preferred.
Other Skills:
- Python computer programming is valued, but not required.
- High proficiency in Excel, including formulas and data transformation is desirable, but not required.
- e-Discovery Analytics certification such as Brainspace or Relativity Analytics preferred.
- Experience with document review platform (ex. Relativity) preferred.
