Job Location: Mumbai
Role & Responsibilities:
Developing a deep understanding of sector and companies.
Evaluating potential investment opportunities. This will involve thorough sector knowledge which includes financial statement analysis, understanding of regulatory framework, preparing financial models, valuation metrics etc.
Regular monitoring of companies/sectors under coverage.
Build, maintain and regularly update detailed financial models, industry models, providing updates (including quarterly result updates)
Write reports and handle bespoke research tasks, including preparing and maintaining sector databases
Communicate with different companies on a frequent basis to gather latest updates on their business
Build quant & data analysis by screening balance sheet & annual reports of companies
The latest news/developments on the covered stocks and sector and evaluate the impact
Skill set and profile expected:
Strong academic qualifications
Tracking relevant sectors for Indian equities.
Ability to read through annual reports and financial statements.
Passion for equities and investing is most important.
