Job Location: Bangalore/Bengaluru
- Should have 5-10 years of IT experience, with at least 4+ Data Science Experience ( Assessment, Development)
- Strong problem solving skills with Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, PySpark, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge & Experience of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge & Experience in implementing of a variety of machine learning frameworks like SparkML etc
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications
- Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
- Great communication skills
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.
- Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig etc
- Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase etc
- Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
- Work with Data Service Line leadership team to develop practice goals and objectives for Data Science
- Contribute and drive an execution plan towards driving results based on defined practice objectives
- Ensure the technical quality of all work within the team.
- Provision of professional development and technical training for the team.
- Contribute resources to multi-disciplinary teams in support of ad hoc project work.
- Contribute towards delivering Data Science related proposals, thought leadership articles etc. for our customers and prospects
- Oversight to teams assigned and ensuring right solutions and high quality of delivery
- Contribute towards identifying relevant partnerships with major Data Science Technology providers, service providers with complementary skills, etc.
- Contribute towards Conceptualize and develop framework, accelerators or solutions for specific use cases
- Create visibility and presence for the organization in right forums, conferences and events
- Periodic reviews with leadership team on practice operations, progress and overall direction
