Job Details:

Position: Business Analyst

Exp: 2-4 Years

Location: Mumbai-Powai

Roles & Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate / follow up with multiple teams within the firm, such as Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal & Compliance for requirement gathering.
• Perform Business analysis and document artifacts such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), Impact Assessment Documents and Root Cause Assessment Documents.
• Active participation in global project calls.
• Work with global CSG business leads and stakeholders effectively to deliver project goals.
• Contribute to decision making process within the projects and escalate key risks and issues.
• Understand the technology and operations environment in the firm.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, SMEs and Technology developers to translate requirements into technology builds.
• Co-ordinate UAT for Projects and data quality rules / reconciliations.
• Work with large amounts of data and analyze them.

Qualification, Experience & Skills

• 2-3 years of Business Analysis experience in an Investment Banking Operations environment.
• Solid understanding of Reference Data i.e. client data including counterparties, accounts and SSIS and organizational data such as Book Data.
• Basic understanding of middle office booking and settlements flows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interpersonal, influencing & stakeholder management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong MS Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) skills
• Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines

Other Requirements

• Shift Timing EMEA Shift i.e. 1.00 PM to 10.00 PM, however at times there may be a need to work in early US or APAC shifts :
• Early US is 4.00 PM to 1.00 Am or 5.00 PM to 2.00 AM and
• APAC shift is 7.00 AM to 4.00 PM
