Data Engineer Job Description:
Desired Technical Skills:
- In depth knowledge in analysis, design and implementation of big data processing
- In depth knowledge in handling both real time and batch data processing
- In depth knowledge in data governance, security and data retention policy
- In depth knowledge in modern data frameworks, tools such as airflow, prefect, dbt, airbyte, kafka, BI tools
- In depth knowledge in database technologies both NoSQL & SQL such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, hadoop
- In depth knowledge in data processing architecture and framework such as Spark, Storm, apache beam etc.,
- Knowledge in microservices, docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge in messaging framework such as Kafka is a plus
- Knowledge in ML Platforms and tools is a plus
- Knowledge in programming languages: Python, R, SQL & Scala is a plus
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of work experience with 4+ years as data engineer
