Senior Business Analyst and Power BI Report Developer
As the premier provider of Business Intelligence Solutions in the USA, in the Health and Wellness Industry, ABC Fitness is rapidly growing, and looking to scale our team. We are looking for a well-qualified BI Report Developer. Don’t let the mundane sounding job title deceive you, this is a high-intensity position with constant deadlines and new requests coming in all the time, so strong time-management skills are a must. You will have the unique ability to play a key role in client engagements as a client facing analyst and report developer. Qualified candidates will be hands-on with technology, as well as highly consultative, working with our internal team and clients’ business and IT team members.
Must have Skiils – Power BI, DAX,MSBI, Good Communication
Required Skills & Experience
- Overall 10+ years of experience in IT
- 4+ years hands-on work experience with Power BI or equivalent
- 2+ years with Microsoft BI Suite (SSRS, SSAS, SSMS)
- Well-versed in identifying issues and optimizing dashboards with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization
- Experience with developing Business Intelligence dashboards using Microsoft technologies, specifically Power BI
- Able to write complex queries, views and transformations with T-SQL
- Gathering and documenting requirements, based on discussions with clients’ business and technology team members
- Be hands on with development of reports, analytics and visualizations development
- Database Technology: SQL Server, SSAS, RDBMS or equivalent
- ETL Technology: SSIS, ZappySys, Informatica or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Self Motivated candidate with minimum supervision
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 3+ years with various forms of data modeling, including relational, star and snowflake schema’s
- Creating RBAC security with Power BI
- C# Is a Plus
- Functional DAX Understanding
- Experience in mapping data using disparate data sources such as flat files, databases, xml files and/or unstructured data
- Microsoft Azure and related Microsoft products such as Data Factory and Blob Storage
- Excellent communication skills is a must, confidence to interact directly with the clients
Education – Graduate is a must, B.Tech/B.E.
Location – Remote (Permanent Work from Home)
Shift Timings – 4:30PM IST – 1:30AM IST
