BS in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Finance, Operations Research or other quantitative field
5+ years of relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in big data environments
3+ years of experience in data mining and dataset preparation using SQL
3+ years of experience in data visualization tools like Tableau.
Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
Experience in designing and building data infrastructure / automated reporting tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts and analysis clearly to a diverse audience, including senior executives, and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will generate insights that will guide operational excellence and product development for our customers. Data analysis is at the core Amazon’s culture, and your work will have a direct impact on decision making and strategy for our team. You will be gathering customer insights, mining data, making recommendations, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions.
Key job responsibilities
Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers
Interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete reporting solutions
Provides input and recommendations on technical issues to BI engineers and business analysts
Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from a wide variety of data sources
A day in the life
This position will closely work with CXQO operations team to develop dashboards to analyze data for determining root cause, building business insights and dive deep.
It involves complex analysis and diving deep into key metrics based on requests, building and maintaining multiple databases.

Experience with SQL
Experience with Python or other relevant scripting language
Experience with relational database design and architecture
