What you will do

• Work in a multi-disciplined team where you will turn data discoveries and ideas into models and insights
• You’ll find how to leverage the data and the models to create and improve products for our customers, in lean development cycles
• Be able to implement/build methodologies as well as (understand how to) scale them together with the businesses
• Maintain a good, current and demonstrable knowledge of adjacent application and market developments both for inspiration and for benchmarking the concepts
• Ingest data-sources into our data management platforms
• Structure data into a scalable and easily understood architecture

What you’ll bring

• A broad practice in multiple software engineering fields
• At least 1 year of consultancy experience or relevant industry experience
• Hands-on experience including programming to implement pipelines integrating database management systems, cleaning data and improving its data quality
• Knowledge in Azure (AWS or GCP as plus) and at least one programming language (Python, R, Scala), Hadoop clusters, different SQL and nonSQL databases
• Experience with agile methodologies
• You are inventive and passionate about streamlining and automating data acquisition, and possess a highly structured approach to problem solving
• Must have experience on Python, SQL and Distributed programming languages, preferable Spark
• Experience on data workflows and ETL, Apache Airflow is a plus
• Basic knowledge of Containers and Docker as platform
• Experience using Version Control, Testing and development cycle, preferable git (Gitlab or GitHub)
• Software development practices (Agile)
• A Strong Focus On Data Processing

• Databases: theory and practice
• Distributed data processing
• Concepts of functional programming
• Enterprise data warehousing, business intelligence and ETL principles
