A Business Analyst is expected to own analytics on large volumes of data, synthesizing the analysis into business insights, communicating the findings to stakeholders and drive business value. Business analyst will be expected to be skilled in understanding customer needs (both internal and external customers), convert them to analysis requirements, have working knowledge of data availability in various sources and build customer confidence through effective communication. Business analyst would also be responsible for the project plans, cost and efficiency of analytics platform resources, scaling of data processes and reports, and project

timeline and deliverables. You will work with our key stakeholders to leverage our data to drive operational efficiencies, provide key data-driven insights, enable new opportunities and innovate on behalf of the stakeholders.

 

Requirements

 

Working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, Data Warehouse as well as Advanced Excel(Array, Statistical formulas and Macros)

Data Management skills – ability to work with a variety of data sources and pull data using efficient query development that requires less post processing

Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

Communication skills – ability to communicate (written and spoken) in English. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems, analytical insights and business implications in simple plain stories. Ability to present information professionally amp; concisely with supporting data

Proven problem solving skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and exceptional organizational skills
